Lewistown, Montana – Spika Design & Manufacturing, Inc. announced today that the 2022 Founder’s Award recipient is Mr. Bill Berg, Production Supervisor and a 16-year veteran at the work platform company.
“Carol and I established the Annual Spika Founders Award as a recognition of a team member who exemplifies what we value in those who have chosen to be a part of the Spika team,” said Mr. Tom Spika, Cofounder and Chairman of the Board of Directors, Spika Design & Manufacturing, Inc. at an award ceremony held at the Elks Club in Lewistown, Montana. “We have so many people that are really impressive, so it is hard to pick someone, but Bill exemplifies everything we value in a team member. He brings positivity and a get-er-done attitude. He came to Spika with many valuable skills and has continued to develop new ones as needs arose. He has demonstrated leadership and commitment to succeed as a team, always downplaying his role and holding the entire team up in pride of our accomplishments. He has spent much time away from his family this past year to fill a critical role for the company. He truly has played a key role in bringing the company from a small farm shop to a major partner of huge cutting-edge space companies and innovative manufacturers,” added Mr. Spika.
The Founder’s Award recognizes team members who meet the most of several criteria that make them an invaluable part of Spika Design & Manufacturing’s success story. Winners of the Founder’s Award have demonstrated professional growth, skills transferrable to new roles, contributed to increased efficiency by learning and adapting to new technologies, stepped outside their comfort zones in to meet critical needs, introduced new skills and improvements in operations, always been willing to lend a hand, stood out in their self-motivation, clairvoyance and longevity at the company, and contributed to a positive work environment, guiding the company through some very difficult times.

A native of Lewistown, Montana, where he lives with his wife Stephanie, Mr. Berg loves camping and snowmobiling with friends and his family, including kids, Shelby, Lynn, Gabe and Noah, and the family dog Hunter.
